North Buffalo Community Church, SBC (NBCC) is a member of the Frontier Baptist Association of Western New York. This church is also affiliated with the Baptist Convention of New York. The ultimate NBCC goal is to fulfill the great commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28: 19-20 and to embody the motto of the church which is “Sharing god’s Love.”

NBCC is a church with a diverse congregant demographic. English is not the first heart language for about 25% of this local community of worship. The distance from NBCC to the University at Buffalo’s (UB) South Campus is about 1 mile, providing easy access for many of the students who make their way over to this church.

At NBCC, high school students are trained for the SAT by a NBCC & UB student partnership. They provide marriage enrichment opportunities for couples as an ongoing ministry. The church provides leadership development for college students to augment their college studies.

NBCC partners with other local organizations to accomplish its mission collaboratively.
Each year the church sponsors trips to various places in the United States and to places around the world as well. The trips planned for the summer of 2010 include 2 weeks in Zambia to help with AIDS relief efforts.

North Buffalo Community Church, SBC is led by Pastor William H. Smith, a long time member of the North Buffalo community. He and his family are committed to serve Christ by making the city of Buffalo a better place for all.
